This is the first solo exhibition of Zhuang Hwa-Yun, an artist in his 70s, who has given Lin & Keng Gallery this rare opportunity to exhibit his artworks. The artist embeds his life experiences within small scale watercolor paintings. Some with the still life of flowers and birds in tranquility, others with the lyrical paintings of Chinese opera characters, and also his works embody the nostalgia for meaningful historical events.
