In the Resonance Collection Exhibition at Fubon Art Museum, screen prints from Su Meng-Hung’s Circular Floral Series are on view. Through layered colors, repeated printing stages, and variations in materials, the artist allows images to continuously generate rhythm and energy throughout the printing process. These works respond to the exhibition’s core concept of “resonance,” situated between viewing, time, and embodied experience.
Within this artistic context, the Color Screen Printing Workshop is designed as a combined experience of guided viewing and hands-on practice. Artist Su Meng-Hung will personally lead an in-gallery tour, introducing the creative background of the Circular Floral Series and the role of screen printing within his practice. This is followed by a practical screen-printing session led by Huang Chun-Yuan, director of TBKPRINT Studio, who will guide participants through the printing process.
Beginning from the act of viewing, participants will explore how color, layering, and imagery are constructed and transformed through printing, extending visual experience into creative practice. Structured as a two-week workshop, the program encourages participants to progressively deepen their understanding of screen-printing techniques and artistic thinking, forming their own creative rhythm and layers of resonance between observation and making.
