We are delighted to share that the Ministry of Culture has highlighted “A Blast of Lyricism: Contemporary Taiwanese Art in London” as part of the achievements of their Grant projects for International Art Fairs.
Presented at Frieze No.9 Cork Street by Tina Keng Gallery and Gallery de Sol, the exhibition brought together nine Taiwanese artists: Ava Hsueh , Chiang Yomei, Yao Jui-Chung, Chen Chun-Hao, Yang Chung-Ming, Su Meng-Hung, Chiu Chen-Hung, Lee Juo-Mei, and He Yusen.
Through their diverse practices and perspectives, the exhibition presented the breadth and vitality of Taiwanese contemporary art to audiences in London.
We are especially honored that the exhibition led to the British Museum’s acquisition of works by Ava Hsueh, Chen Chun-Hao, and Lee Juo-Mei, marking a meaningful step for Taiwanese contemporary art within a major international institutional collection.
Our sincere thanks to the Ministry of Culture, the participating artists, and everyone who contributed to this significant project.
